“Pollution Prevention Works: A Storytelling Challenge for Students”
This U.S. EPA Challenge is an opportunity for students to win up to $5,000 by telling pollution prevention (P2) stories. There is one week left in the Challenge – entries are due February 17, 2023.
Students can submit videos, written stories, infographics, or StoryMaps that illustrate how businesses in EPA’s Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) P2 Search Tool are reducing toxic chemical releases through innovative pollution prevention practices and having a positive impact on the environment and communities. The Challenge is open to high school and college students.
When submitting your Challenge materials, please send any attachments that you have to Guthrie.christina@epa.gov and enter your information into the challenge form. If you are submitting a video as your entry, make sure you also fill out the Official U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Consent Form (pdf) (one form for each challenge participant, requires parental signature for participants under 18) and the Video/Audio/Photo License Agreement (pdf) (one form for each individual appearing on the video).
