Lake Champlain Watershed: February 13th, 100 gallons of home heating oil was released on Alexandria Ave in Ticonderoga, Essex County.
Oswego Watershed: February 13th, an unreported amount of volatile organic material was discharged on Erie St in Oswego, Oswego County.
Atlantic Watershed: February 13th, 250 gallons of home heating oil was released at a private residence due to equipment failure on Meadowood Court in Huntington, Suffolk County.
Lower Hudson Watershed: February 13th, an unreported amount of sludge was released due to equipment failure on South Port Rd in Albany, Albany County. This spill impacted the Hudson River.
Upper Hudson Watershed: February 12th, an unreported amount of an unknown material was released at a gas station on Quaker Rd and Ridge St in Queensbury, Warren County.
Susquehanna Watershed: February 11th, an unreported amount of an unknown material was released from a traffic accident onto State Route 12 and Pleasant Valley Rd in Sherburne, Chenango County.

DEC receives upward of sixteen thousand spill reports each year; each report is investigated by qualified personnel. Report files are closed when it is determined the spill is contained and under the control of the spiller or state authorities and a clean up plan is in place or completed.
