Rain through the weekend has distributed much above normal flows through all the watersheds of New York Monday morning with a handful of stations rated high. The Upper Genesee River, rated with moderate drought for months is flowing high at Wellsville Monday morning, having reached a peak depth of 6.34 ft early this morning.
Monitoring sations are recording high flows Monday near Adams, North Greece, Plattsburgh and Gilboa. As of this update, none of the stations are recording 99th percentile flows. More to follow.

By Monday afternoon the Oswego Finger Lakes watershed region is no longer drought rated. One small area of Chautauqua County remains rated below normal as of the latest update. Genesee River watershed holds on to a moderate drought rating from top to bottom in spite of the current much above normal and high flows, watch for this drought rating to adjust when the 7-day average flow tilts toward normal seasonal values.
Part of the Chemung River watershed in Chemung County remains below normal as of Monday afternoon.
The Allegheny River watershed in the southwest, and the north strip of Niagara River-Lake Erie watershed remain below normal.
