Normal to above normal streamflow values statewide this morning, much above normal upstate, Long Island stations still reporting normal to much below normal.
None of the monitors are registering extreme high or low readings Wednesday. More to follow.

Drought map from USGS WaterWatch
As of Wednesday morning, the Genesee River watershed remains the lone area of NYS on the drought map, rated below normal. Given the current streamflow readings in this watershed at seasonal normal values, we expect to see NYS with a blank drought map very soon.

The Village of Whitehall has rescinded the system-wide BWA issued last Friday after a water main break and repair disrupted service.
Hazardous Spills the latest reports released from NY DEC as reported to the NY Emergency Spill Hotline 1-800-457-7362
The latest spill incident reports released by NY Department of Environmental Conservation occurred on Friday, December 1 and Saturday December 2.
Two spills impacting state water occurred Friday, including 12 gallons of gasoline reported spilled into Otter Creek from a residential property in Cortland. The cause of the spill is listed as equipment failure. The cause is unknown for a spill from an institution or government facility, an unknown amount of unknown material reported entering the Oneida River near the wastewater treatment plant in Clay in Onondaga County.
An unknown amount of sulfuric acid and ammonia were reported spilled from the address listed as Patriot Recycling in Oceanside, Nassau. The cause is listed as "other". No impact to water noted in the report. The location of the spill as reported is across the street from Oceanside Marine Terminal.
