Floods and streamflow update from USGS WaterWatch
Hudson River is flooding at Poughkeepsie Thursday afternoon as Lake Champlain continues to flood Port Henry. High flows are recorded in 9 locations in the Lower Hudson, Ramapo River and Long Island Sound watersheds as of this update. Coastal flooding at Atlantic Beach, Ponquogue and Hudson Bay has passed. The rain and flooding warning has been lifted. Flooding continues in New Jersey including Hackensack River flooding at Riverdale.
Drinking Water Advisories
Village of Massena has issued a BWA following a water main break on George St river crossing Wednesday. All customers connecting to Village of Massena water are required to boil water intended for consumption until further notice.
