Cloudy and overcast in central state Binghamton weather center seeing freezing temp today with chance of snow showers this evening. New York City looking clear and sunny in Central Park Wednesday, 35 F with slight chance of rain or snow showers overnight.
Floods and streamflow update from USGS WaterWatch
Lake Champlain water level remains on a receding trend mid-week running two inches below flood stage Wednesday morning at Port Henry. No extreme high flows or flooding registering in the state as of this update.
Raquette River drains an area of 1125 square miles in St Lawrence County. Three USGS monitoring stations on this river are recording much above seasonal normal values, over 90th percentile from head south of Piercefield, South Colton and the outlet north of Raymondville.

The NYS drought map cleared over the weekend, no part of the state is rated below normal or any variety of drought Wednesday.
