Orange-Putnam-Rockland-Northern Westchester-Southern Westchester-New York (Manhattan)-Bronx-Richmond (Staten Island)-Kings (Brooklyn)-Northern Queens Counties
Strong winds and widespread minor to moderate flood impacts are
likely from Friday night into Saturday.
Streamflow Situation from USGS WaterWatch
Coastal flooding ended overnight relieving Lindenhurst to West Sayville of inundation up to two feet above flood stage.
Coastal and inland flooding inside NYS has ended Thursday, with Ramapo River no longer flooding at Mahwah NJ. Hudson River no longer flooding at Poughkeepsie. Active flooding is still occurring on Housatonic River half a foot over flood stage at Gaylordsville CT station. See USGS Provisional Data statement at the end of this article.
Drinking Water Advisories
Plattsburgh issued a BWA for certain addresses on Margaret Street Tuesday after a water main break was repaired. The order impacts connections at 290 - 312 & 325 Margaret Street, until further notice.
