The latest spill reports from NYDEC occurred on Monday, March 11. There are 45 spill incidents recorded on this date. 40 Spills are petroleum based, 5 spills are toxic and 2 are impacting water.
Noted on this day is 160 gallons of home heating oil spilled at a private residence in the Bronx.
190 gallons of home heating oil spilled at a private residence in Chenango Forks, both heating oil spills due to equipment failure.
Unknown amount of manure reported spilled into Flint River in Phelps
Unknown amount of unknown material spilled into Beaver Creek in Dunkirk
