60 gallons of fertilizers released into Tonawanda Creek in the Niagara River Lake Erie Watershed

The latest spill reports from NYDEC occurred on Monday, June 10. 14 spills were reported on this day.
Lake Ontario Tributary: 5 gallons of hazardous waste was released due to equipment failure of a tank at a unreported facility on Balmer Rd in Model City, Niagara County.
Lower Hudson Watershed: A vehicle fire was reported off of Hunter St which caused run off and material from the vehicle to be released onto the pavement in Ossining, of Westchester County. An unspecified amount of petroleum has been discharged into a deep hole near Mohawk Mountain House in Accord, Ulster County.
Earlier this week:
Niagara River Lake Erie Watershed: 60 gallons of fertilizers were reported to have been released into Tonawanda Creek off Tonawanda Creek Rd in Pendleton of Niagara County.
Atlantic Long Island Sound Watershed: An unreported substance in unknown quantities was released onto a beach near Little Northwest Creek in East Hampton , in Suffolk County.
Oswego River Watershed: Unreported amounts of raw sewage was discharged at a private residence on South Washington St in Carthage of Jefferson County.
