Lithium ion battery liquid released in a car accident in Mohawk River Watershed

The latest spill reports from NYDEC occurred on Friday, June 14. Two spills were reported on this day.
Niagara River Erie Watershed: An unreported amount of motor oil has been discharged from a transformer pole following a car accident on Whitehaven Rd in Grand Island in Erie County.
Mohawk River Watershed: A traffic accident near a private residence caused a the car lithium ion battery to release liquid onto the street on Crawford Rd in Rotterdam of Schenectady County.
