Lake Ontario Watershed: On July 14, Lake Ontario had a gasoline released into the water from a capsized boat off Knapp Shores in Kent, Orleans County.
Oswego Watershed: On July 14, the Erie Canal was reported to have an oil sheen due to a petroleum product being released into the body of water off Route 31 in Pittsford, Monroe County.
Lower Hudson Watershed: On July 14, Kinderhook Creek was impacted by an unknown material in unreported amounts south of Stephentown Rd in Stephentown, Rensselaer County.
Earlier this week
Black River Watershed: A storm that hit Lewis County and caused flooding contributed to unreported amounts of home heating oil to be spilled off East Rd in Lowville of Lewis County. Black River Tributary has been impacted.
Atlantic Long Island Sound Watershed: A sunken jet ski in Great South Bay caused unknown amounts of gasoline to be released into the water along Robert Moses State Park in Babylon, Suffolk County.
St Lawrence Watershed: A boat that has sunk due to equipment failure has been observed to be releasing gasoline into the St Lawrence River at Westminster Park on Wellesley Island, Jefferson County.
Lake Champlain Watershed: 2000 gallons of ferric sulfate was released from Sylvamo along Shore Airport Rd in Ticonderoga, Essex County.
Oswego Watershed: An unreported amount of wastewater has been released due to unknown circumstances on fire lane 1 in Marabia, Cayuga County. Owasco River impacted
