NY ROUND-UP
Watertown State of Emergency
Basic Creek Reservoir HAB reported
Here is the round up of water events and impacts in the state as of Friday October 20
Drinking Water Advisories
A water main break set off a state of emergency declaration for Watertown in the Black River watershed yesterday. State responders worked to distribute emergency water as the water main was repaired last night. Watertown Mayor explained that potable water will not be restored until next week as it takes up to 36 hours to pressurize the system, which may cause more breaks. A boil water advisory will follow the resumption of water service for up to 72 hours until testing assures the water is safe.
Middleville BWA remains in effect Friday.
