Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by NWS Binghamton 311 am Thurs Dec 26
There is a chance for patchy freezing rain late Friday night into Saturday morning. A glaze of ice will be possible, especially on
untreated surfaces. This may result in slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions Saturday morning.
Also, a storm system will bring milder air to the region with rain likely Saturday Night into Monday of next week. The potential exists
for heavy rainfall, especially in the Catskills and Poconos. The rain combined with snowmelt could cause some flood issues Sunday and
Monday. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or your local media outlets for later updates on this storm.
