Freezing rain or drizzle with ice accumulations expected, a light glaze to a few hundredths of an inch impacting sidewalks, roads and bridges. Periods of freezing rain or drizzle will be
intermittent.
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or local media broadcasts for further information.
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS river monitors in NY
Raining in the city, 50 degrees. Up to a quarter inch of rain possible tonight, a chance of light rain or drizzle between 10pm and 4am, then rain likely after 4am. For Sunday morning, rain is likely to continue until 10 am with patchy fog, tapering off to drizzle for the next few hours with a slight chance of more rain in the afternoon. Foggy and 39 degrees in the west, Binghamton weather office reporting a 30% chance of rain overnight with patchy fog. Massena International - Richards Field airport reporting fog and mist, 26 degrees with freezing rain, see the hazardous weather outlook above.
Much above seasonal normal flows in the Niagara River - Lake Erie watershed, above normal down in the southwest Allegheny River watershed. Normal streamflows dominate the northeast, central basins, some below normal signals coming from Lower Hudson River watershed and Long Island. Putnam and north Westchester counties remain in moderate drought, immediately surrounding area is rated below normal. There is no active flooding, and no extreme high or low flows as of this report.
