Oswego Watershed: October 10th, unknown amount of unknown material was released on the I-90 due to a traffic accident in Geddes, Onondaga County.
Atlantic Watershed: October 10th, 195 gallons of home heating oil was released on Jamaica Ave and 105th St in Queens, Queens County.
Lower Hudson Watershed:October 10th, unreported amount of motor oil has been released deliberately on old albany post rd in Bauchanan, Westchester County.
Niagara Lake Erie Watershed: October 10th, an unreported amount of unknown material was released at a substation on Erie St in Lancaster, Erie County.

DEC receives upward of sixteen thousand spill reports each year; each report is investigated by qualified personnel. Report files are closed when it is determined the spill is contained and under the control of the spiller or state authorities and a clean up plan is in place or completed.
