Lower Hudson Watershed: October 25th, an unreported amount of gasoline reported spilled from a Cumberland Farms Gas Station on East Main St in Middletown, Orange County. October 24th, 50 gallons of home heating oil reported spilled at a private residence due to equipment failure on Gilber St in South Salem, Westchester County. October 24th, unreported amounts of auto waste fluids were released onto the side of the road from a vehicle involved in a traffic accident on Veranica Court in Cortland, Westchester Albany. October 24th, unreported amounts of gasoline was released from a traffic accident at the Coeymans Reservoir on Route 143 and Indian Field Rd in Coeymans, Albany County.
Oswego Watershed: October 25th, an unreported amount of leachate was released at a landfill due to equipment failure on Fulcman Rd in Waterloo, Seneca County.
Black River Watershed: October 24th, unreported amount of gasoline was released deliberately at a private residence on Route 3 Lot 10 in Black River, Jefferson County.

DEC receives upward of sixteen thousand spill reports each year; each report is investigated by qualified personnel. Report files are closed when it is determined the spill is contained and under the control of the spiller or state authorities and a clean up plan is in place or completed.
