Niagara River Watershed: November 30th, an unreported amount of petroleum was released into Ellicott Creek off of the 600 block of Ellicott Creek Rd in Tonawanda, Erie County.
Allegheny Watershed: December 1st, unreported amount of milk has been released onto the road following a storm in the area of Youngs Rd in Conewango, Cattaraugus County. This has made an entrance into North Branch Mill Creek.
Atlantic Long Island Sound Watershed: November 29th, 2874 gallons of dielectric fluid was discharged onto the ground due to equipment failure and leak on West 132nd St in Manhattan, New York County.
Genesee Watershed: November 29th, 9500 gallons of manure was released in a traffic accident and entered the Kinney Swamp off County Route 15A in Allen, Allegany County.

DEC receives upward of sixteen thousand spill reports each year; each report is investigated by qualified personnel. Report files are closed when it is determined the spill is contained and under the control of the spiller or state authorities and a clean up plan is in place or completed.
